Integrations¶
Integrations connect external/public information sources with Shyft operational models and storage. They support operational energy-market processes and the supporting processes that provide their inputs; they are not owned by a single modelling domain.
Weather integration is not hydrology-specific. Weather from providers such as MET Norway and SMHI can support hydrological inflow/reservoir modelling, wind/renewable generation forecasting, other renewable-site modelling, temperature-dependent electricity consumption/load forecasting, and weather-sensitive market analysis and operations. The integration handles acquisition and representation; downstream models decide how to use those data.
This section can also accommodate market-information integrations such as Nord Pool and UMM. These names illustrate the broader category, not a promise that all those services are implemented here. The documented service below is MET Norway.
